Register for STEP 1 (EDUC 2020)
A 1-credit hour "career exploration" course for you to try out teaching fun science experiments with local elementary students
- Low-risk course introducing you to a streamlined secondary math and science teacher education program called CU Teach
- No commitment to completing teacher licensure is required upon course completion
- Class meets once a week on campus for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Students also make five visits to a local elementary school or after school program
STEP 1 IS OPEN TO ALL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
However, priority is given to
FRESHMEN and SOPHOMORES
MATH, SCIENCE, and OPEN OPTION majors
